Raw material and Filter pressing

Raw material

Tested raw materials such as clay, quartz and feldspar are ground in ball mill  to a  wet slurry form.

Filter pressing :

Hydraulic high pressure filter presses are used to de-water the slurry in the form of cakes.

Pugging :

Vacuum extrusion of filter cakes in de-airing pug mill is performed to achieve homogeneous, air free and compact blanks.

Glazing and Finishing

Glazing and Finishing :

A glaze of various chemicals is applied on the dried ware  before firing to give  it shine, electrical and mechanical properties.

Firing :

Firing is done in high temperature tunnel and shuttle kilns to vitrify the dried ware.
